Paintings that are made up of two or more canvas are extreamly popular and this is not a modern idea but has actually been around for many hundreds of years. Having a painting split like this is eye catching and very dramatic. It also offers a number of hanging and display options to further increase the visual impact by off setting spacing, or staggering slightly differently, each canvas. This technique is particularly good for triptychs like the one below which recently sold at our last exhibition. These unusual and modern paintings are very popular and more are planned for the future, they are also great fun to paint!
